Tina Marie Taylor
Welcome to my web page.
I am very excited about this school year. I teach 6,7, and 8th grade Math. I also have the privilege of co-directing Middle School and High School One Act Play.
I am a 1981 graduate of Hubbard High School. I attended Navarro College and received my Associates of Science. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education with a specialization in reading.
I love teaching and believe it is my calling. I think everyone is a math person; all they have to do, is do math. Our brains are like a muscle, the more we exercise it, the better we get. I believe in the power of yet. Just because students are not good at something right now, doesn't mean they can't be good at it one day. They are just not good at it "yet." I have witnessed this time and time again. It is all about having a growth mindset.
My conference time is 2:49-3:30, Please call the office anytime and Mrs. Masters will make an appointment if needed. I welcome emails also if you have any questions.
I am looking forward to a great year with my students. I have to opportunity to come to work everyday, loving what I do, loving my kids, and striving to become better. Thank you for entrusting you student with Hubbard ISD.
