Mr. Colt Carmichael named as the Lone Finalist for the Hubbard ISD Superintendent position

In an unanimous 7-0 vote, the Hubbard ISD Board of Trustees have named Mr. Colt Carmichael as the Lone Finalist for the Hubbard ISD Superintendent position.
 
Mr. Carmichael has 19 years of teaching and administrative experience, and currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Blum ISD. Prior to this position, Mr. Carmichael was the principal of Goldthwaite High School and has also served as an assistant principal and teacher/coach in other districts.
 
Pending a state required 21-day waiting period, the Hubbard ISD Board of Trustees will meet on March 4 to officially hire Mr. Carmichael as Superintendent of Schools.

Due to the recent snow closure, adjustments to the academic calendar have been made. The 3 bad weather days in May are now regular school days.

Join us for a fun event on March 2nd!! If you have any small jobs around the house, consider "purchasing" a Senior to get the job done! There will also be silent auction items available. This is the last big fundraiser for the tripsters before they head to Orlando.

**Purchasing Tickets**
PreK - 5th grade: Return the flyer in your child's gold folder with money to your child's homeroom teacher - tickets will be sent back home in the gold folder
Secondary: Tickets may be purchased from Mrs. Beseda during breakfast or lunch

Please note that tickets must be purchased ahead of time and will not be sold at the door!!
