The Class of 2030 will have a parent meeting on Monday, March 30th at 5:30 PM in the HISD Cafeteria to discuss the 8th Grade Graduation Dinner and Junior High Dance.

Incoming Freshman: 9th Grade Pathway and Course Night

Join us for 9th Grade Pathway & Course Night on April 6th from 6:00–7:00 PM in the Cafeteria!

This event will help students and families:

✅ Explore CTE pathways
✅ Meet teachers
✅ Discover our NEW CyberHub cybersecurity program

Each pathway will have tables with program information, and opportunities to ask questions.

Mr. Colt Carmichael

Mr. Colt Carmichael named as the Lone Finalist for the Hubbard ISD Superintendent position

In an unanimous 7-0 vote, the Hubbard ISD Board of Trustees have named Mr. Colt Carmichael as the Lone Finalist for the Hubbard ISD Superintendent position.

Mr. Carmichael has 19 years of teaching and administrative experience, and currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Blum ISD. Prior to this position, Mr. Carmichael was the principal of Goldthwaite High School and has also served as an assistant principal and teacher/coach in other districts.

Pending a state required 21-day waiting period, the Hubbard ISD Board of Trustees will meet on March 4 to officially hire Mr. Carmichael as Superintendent of Schools.
