A parent/guardian is encouraged to call the campus office to provide information regarding the student's absence from school. A phone call does not excuse the absence. The campus must receive a written and signed note or email from a parent/guardian or doctor within 3 business days of the student's absence. If a note is submitted after 3 days, the absence will NOT be excused. Hubbard ISD will accept 10 parent notes per year. Doctor's notes are NOT considered a parent note and do NOT count in the total.
