Principal's Welcome
I am so excited to be serving another year as Hubbard Elementary principal.  As a graduate of Hubbard High School and a life-long resident of Hubbard, this school is my heart.  It is my desire to see our school and community continue to grow and improve so that we can become an even brighter star and the best small town in Texas!  We must all work together for the success of our students.  My door is always open, so please let me know if I can assist you in any way.  Together we can impact the future!

I can’t believe the year is coming to an end.  I want to thank all of you for taking an active role in your child’s life and for always encouraging them to do their best and be their best.  I look forward to the start of another great year in August.

Sixth Six Weeks Attendance Party

We will have the sixth six week’s attendance party tomorrow.  Students who qualify will get their permission slip today and will need to return it tomorrow.  We will be either in the high school gym or on the playground.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

Year-End Awards

Please join us for our end of year awards ceremony on Thursday morning at 9:00 AM.  We will be recognizing Academic subject awards, citizenship and honor roll for the spring semester.  We will also honor those who achieved perfect attendance for the school year and All-A and A-B honor roll for the entire year.  The awards ceremony will be held in the high school gymnasium.

Final report cards will be given to students and parents at the end of the program.  If you are taking your child home at that time you will sign them out from their homeroom teacher.  We look forward to celebrating a year of excellence.

Early Release

School will dismiss and busses will run at 12:00 Wednesday and Thursday due to secondary final exams.  If you have any questions, please call the office.

STAAR Results

We expect to receive the STAAR test results during the first or second week of June.  A report will be mailed to you.  If your child is a fifth grade and took the Reading and Math Assessments in May we will contact you by phone as soon as we receive their scores.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
